Delete Your Account

The fastest way to delete your Eventik account is from the app itself. It takes effect immediately.

• Open the Eventik app and sign in.
• Go to Profile.
• Tap Delete account.
• Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete forever.

Deleting your account removes:

• Your account and profile: name, email address and phone number.
• Your selfie and your face data, including the numeric face embedding used to match you to photos. No further matching is possible.
• Your event memberships and the record of which photos you were matched to.
• Your favourites and any data cached on your device.

If you created events as a host, the photos and videos you uploaded are deleted with those events. Photos uploaded by other hosts to their events are not yours to delete, but once your account is gone you are no longer matched to any of them.

Your account is deactivated and all sessions are revoked immediately.

• Records are then held for up to 30 days before permanent erasure. This short window exists so that a deletion made in error or by an unauthorised party can be investigated, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
• During those 30 days your account stays inaccessible. It is not recoverable by signing in.
• We may retain invoices and payment records for longer where Indian tax law requires it. These contain billing details, never your selfie or face data.

If you have uninstalled Eventik or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete your account for you.

We use the sending address to verify the request. If you signed up with a phone number only, include that number so we can locate the account. We action verified requests within 30 days.

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data:

• Leave an event removes your membership and the record of photos you were matched to in that event.
• Retake your selfie replaces your stored selfie and face data with the new one.
• Delete an event you created removes that event along with every photo and video uploaded to it.
